I thought I took me a long time to finish a quilt. I am currently working on completing quilts made by my Great Grandmother before 1959. I love the saying “leave UFOs for future generations.”

ASHLAND — Because paper then was so fragile, Elizabeth Roseberry Mitchell began a graveyard quilt top of the cemetery in Woodsfield, Monroe County, Ohio, where two of her sons were buried.

LaRene Taylor has a giving spirit, her daughters say, so when her 80th birthday approached, they knew she wanted for nothing, and decided the best thing they could give would be a present LaRene could use to help others. Make that 80 presents LaRene could use to help others.
